Say what you want about it, but Google is damn useful.
You may recall the "it was found" entry I did, where I mentioned my behavior of looking up things from my past to get a little taste of the magic of yesteryear, and maybe see how I was thinking way in the-back-then.
My most recent findings:
-Natural Born Killers (I could only remember 2 scenes from this movie, but I watched it the same night the first time I saw "The Maxx," the cartoon that I managed to find thanks to youtube.)
and, thanks to Google,
-Gwinna
-Catwitch
The last two are books that I was exposed to at an early age. The first was read to me over a series of days in third grade by one of my favorites teachers, the second was a book I actually took from a library - I can just barely remember some of the illustrations, but I remember that in both books that the pictures were beautiful, and that for children's picture books, they were /very/ long (catwitch is about 79 pages, according to Amazon.com).
Google managed to pull up the book "catwitch" for me based on the keywords "Cat witch Alicorn"
(the horn of a unicorn)
And based on descriptions of the book and the cover, I knew I'd found it.
Gwinna was found similarly, with the words "owl wings girl harp"
Google, and its immense stock of the internet, was able to pull up some really obscure literature for me based on those few keywords, and now hopefully I'll be able to track these treasures down - catwitch is out of print, but I'm determined to find a copy. I've been waiting 12 years to read it again, after all. Don't know about Gwinna - I'm pretty sure you can still find that in places.
Both are beautiful stories. Look them up.
Meanwhile, things are weird in life. : P

(Hey, I still have problems with consistency. My hands are unable to decide whether they want to go for a bolder and more cartoony style or more detailed and realistic or more anime-ish and pretty. ;_;)

It ain't about how hard you hit life, it's about how hard you can get hit by life and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward
